Yes. It is tethered to my Pc. Unfortunately its that or use dial - up. Out here in the country where I live that is all that is available. I mean, my speeds are between 250 & 300 down and 50 or so up, so it's better than dial up. I have thought of getting either hughesnet or wild blue satellite. I might check into it one day. Up front costs are so high though.

As for my download speeds I get close to 15mbs now with my new cox connection wow and I have the 7.5mbs plan.

Last week before I acquired and used the private tel number of my telco's president of operations for my state, pings for me at this time of day were running between 1000 and 4000+ ms.

After a lengthy chat with him they are now like this all the time. :)
