look at what i got in my bulk mail.

what bothers me is that i didn't apply for a paypal account, haven't even been on the internet for a long time because of recurring pneumonia.

also, try following the link. firefox gives me a fraud message.

It's been posted before but paypal never sends email like this.

Even if you receive a legitimate email from paypal you NEVER use the link in the email.

Access your paypal; account through Ebay, a favorites link,or the url of a link you have saved somewhere that you can copy &paste.

paypal will call you by your name...not your email address...they are just trying to get you to enter sensitive information at the website that you go to when you click the link...

as sequoia said...just go to your paypal account (by typing in the url... https://www.paypal.com/  NOT by clicking the link in the email) check out the security section...you can report that email to [email protected] just forward the whole email to that address and include full headers and then delete the email...

these emails can come from other fake financial institutions...never click the links in the emails...report when possible...and delete
