Hi Guys I have a version of DD-WRT installed on my linksys router.  I purchased another linksys router instead of downloading DD-WRT can I backup the version I have installed and use the restore on the second router.  Does the second router have to be the same version as the router that the backup is coming from

Thanks

Rick

Just curious how it went flashing your version 5? I just flashed my v8.2 with the micro binary to great success. (I had not ever done it before...besides upgrading basic o'l proprietary software... as my roommates had already done it and i just enjoyed the bliss :)
