Download Stats ..::: Connection is:: 1200 Kbps about 1.2 Mbps (tested with 579 KB) Download Speed is:: 147 KB/s Tested From:: http://www.testmy.net/ Test Time:: Wed Feb 9 23:41:20 PST 2005 Bottom Line:: 21X faster than 56K 1MB download in 6.97 sec Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/id-0LUQ3ATXP :::.. If you just got the computer and you are fairly computer savy I would recommend installing a fresh copy of the OS.. VanBuren Posted February 11, 2005 CID Share Posted February 11, 2005 heya TJ you have some loss even tho you passed the test, lets see if we can go any faster Install win XP SP2 if you dont already have it download and install Cablenut https://testmy.net/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=1013.0;id=64 download this attached file (Cable & DSL 3000 384.zip ), unzip it to C:ProgramCablenut open cablenut adjuster, in top left corner click file, load custom settings file, browse to C:ProgramCablenut and dubble click on the file you unzipped. now click save to registry and reboot check speed again, use the 2992 KB testfile for download and 1496KB testfile upstream, also make a new tweaktest and post result good luck VanBuren Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
