Ok so basically this is what it boils down too. this is a micro$oft issue ( BIG SURPRISE! ) that Microsoft will have to address :

i.e. : http://support.microsoft.com/kb/939006/en-us

I spoke with dell, dell level 3 tier networking support, micro$oft corp. number, verizon , and dlewis23 .

Funny part is,  you know who provided the most help?

dlewis23. He showed me how to re-setup my router to work.. LOL!  :2funny:

basically like i said,  until Microsoft comes out with a fix for this in vista, im stuck with a 1 mb upload on my vista box, and a 5mb upload on my XP box.  :lipsrsealed::cry:

Now if anyone ELSE has any advice on this issue, please speak up !!!  If this thread starts falling into oblivion i'll just move it to guides for future reference to this problem.

Thanks to all and any info or suggestions will be GREATLY appreciated.  :smile2:

I would be happy as hell with a 20/5. I like you see now need for more until the internet speeds up (such as download sites). Had to make this post so I could get #4000.
