I didn't vote , being in the UK , as it would effect the results , but I snych at 6.2 Mbps (adsl )

with overheads it gives me 5.4 Mbps down and 500 Kbps up , (8 years back I was on 50 Kpbps dial up)

later this year I got FTTC arriving with 30 Mbps , but the cost per month will double , I may opt out and stay

as I am , as the cost for my unlimited is $10 USD a month, and I ain't that much in a hurry to get anywhere ,

I know its not much to others, but my 3G EVDO has bumped from about 130 D/L and .7 U/L to about 270 D/L to about the same  .7 U/L. And mine is still umlimited totally. So glad many switched to the 4G and left me more bandwidth.

And in the country that rocks with only sat and dial up available otherwise. :read:

Optimum only recognizes speedtest.net's results so

Tell them, "Hey! Don't I have the right to a third party opinion?"

The voting machine isn't working... first thing I see is 'delete' vote..when I  delete, then try voting, it won't let me apply down n up, just one r the other..whats the deal, Mud... yes I'm a dummy,, what dummy usually admits that ?  :icon_colors:

The person who started the poll didn't make it the right way... should have split it into two questions. I fixed it and add a few extra options. Thanks for pointing that out. Should work good for you now.

Finally something that seems to make sense to me.

I used Multithread to Dallas and Washington DC.

Using speedtest...which per the Optimum Folks here in North East NJ is the only site they use too back up their ultra 101 I got ---117Mbps Down .....:   /
