run this test http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks  copy and paste result URL  adress in your post!

What speed do you have against http://nitro.ucsc.edu/  also make a tracert, go to start-run type command and hit enter, type tracert testmy.net and hit enter, right click copy all and paste it in your post.

download this attached file (Cable & DSL 1500 384.zip ), unzip it to C:ProgramCablenut

open cablenut adjuster, click delete cablenut tweaks and click save to registry, in top left corner click file, load custom settings file,  browse to C:ProgramCablenut and dubble click on the file you unzipped.

now click save to registry and reboot

check speed again, use the 2992 KB testfile for download and 1496KB testfile upstream, also make a new tweaktest and post result

good luck

no problem :) your not far away from the cap, we aim for 90% of advertised and thats 1350 Kbps for you, cos of TCP overhead of approx 10 %

so this will need some finetuning

try this

change TcpWindowSize and GlobalMaxTcpWindowsize to 30240

click save to registry and reboot

check speed again with same testfile size

both up and down

we goin the right way, it was abit faster downstream :)

now change TcpWindowSize and GlobalMaxTcpWindowsize

in steps of 1440 until you see the speed getting slower

the value you should try now is

30240-1440 = 28800

and the next

28800-1440 = 27360

and the next

27360-1440 = 25920

and so on

remember this

always click save to registry after you changed the values, and after that always reboot

good luck

You know van it's funny. If it's 90% of advertised, the advertised speed for my isp is  (Residential $40 1024 Kbps 5 email accounts.) sooooooooooo if im adverging 1350 thats 34.2% over advertised speed.  :D 90% of burst which is 1500Kbps.  ;):D

thats great  :D
