Okay so i  connected my computer back to the router and changed the NIC back to 100 full duplx, i then did a speedtest at the http://speedtest.accesscomm.ca and it was really close to what it was getting before when it was a direct connection. Then i changed the cablenut settings to what you said and it seems to have gotten slower...but i think with the little changes the upload actually got better unless i'm crazy...

okay something is really messed up here i just tried the accesscomm.ca speed test on my laptop that is using wifi through the router and it got this:

2005-02-15 20:45:55 EST: 4627 / 730

Your download speed : 4739069 bps, or 4627 kbps.

A 578.4 KB/sec transfer rate.

Your upload speed : 747989 bps, or 730 kbps.

and my desktop which i have used up till now i just did too and it got

3190/688 on that same test

i know i used one of the version 3 cablenut settings of yours on the laptop but  shouldnt the ethernet connection be faster than the wifi?
