Hey guys,

tried to read the sticky thread before posting this but i can't understand most of it. So I just went straight here and posted this thread.

So here's the thing I have a fios internet and I have the 10/2 plan. A week after the connection was installed the download speed was fast, probably around 80kbps/s, which i think is still slow..which is probably caused by the wireless router being at the living room and my pc on the 2nd floor. Now, a couple of days before my brother just turned off the router (not sure if does affect my speed connection) but when i turned it on it just got slow. so slow that when i download something the max is just 9 kbps. so i went here and test my connection...

and here're the results...

Download Connection is:: 88 Kbps about 0.1 Mbps (tested with 97 kB)

Download Speed is:: 11 kB/s

Tested From:: https://testmy.net/ (Main)

Test Time:: 2008/09/18 - 11:07pm

Bottom Line:: 2X faster than 56K 1MB Download in 93.09 sec

Tested from a 97 kB file and took 9.043 seconds to complete

Download Diagnosis:: May need help : running at only 1.54 % of your hosts average (verizon.net)

D-Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-CDEROUBM0

User Agent:: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/2.0.0.11;MEGAUPLOAD 1.0 [!]

so I guess my question is do you think there's something wrong my settings or is it just verizon?

Thanks guys
