If you are using a mac and you downloaded cablenut, you will need to open cable nut and delete tweaks.. not for mac..

you might want to check this link for mac tweaks... http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/12591

welcome to the forum!!!

Thank you for your advise.  I followed the above link and downloaded and installed the program, but it did not fix the problem.  I called my ISP tonight and it seems that they fixed the problem remotely.

:::.. Download Stats ..:::

Connection is:: 4250 Kbps about 4.2 Mbps (tested with 2992 KB)

Download Speed is:: 519 KB/s

Tested From:: http://www.testmy.net/

Test Time:: Thu Feb 17 2005 22:25:07 GMT-0500

Bottom Line:: 76X faster than 56K 1MB download in 1.97 sec

Diagnosis: 90% + Okay : running at 91.87 % of your hosts average (optonline.net)

My question now is:  Do ISP do it on purpose?  Do they decrease and increase connection speed and download speed?

Thank you.
