thumbdrive problem!

i have a problem on my 2GB thumbdrive... there are some files that i can't remove or delete.. and i want to reformat it.. i tried scanning it but no viruses found. it says that corrupted file or unreadable files.. then i tried error scan.. the properties>tools>check now>cheking the boxes>ok>ok... after that, i tried now to format but it won't what will i do? any tips? :grin:by the way... i cannot safety remove it.. error..

could be that there's a file not in your computer that is associated with a file in the thumbdrive, or vice versa, which prevents you to reformat. you know what i mean? a running process between those files should be terminated prior to reformatting  :smiley:
