Now i don't like cable because you have to share bandwith, i like my wireless, its very reliable and service is very good. Now if sbc goes to 3Mbps or more i may switch to there. Unless you live in a city with over like 50,000 people all using that same ISP , at the same time i doubt youll notice a difference in "shared cable speed " Iv never seen a drop unless it was a technical issue. We have a population of bout 49,000, and the whole city's wired for cable. Not sure how many are using cable thou, but it would make the most sense since I have cable in the house. Yep there would have to be a lot of traffic all at the same exact time, there is a formula that the government has that they must comply with...phone svc is the same way, and I only saw one time in Tucson when ya couldn't call for a while it was some years back when Garth Brooks was coming to a concert and everyone was calling for tickets and it disrupted phone svc for a few hours...... not Mother's day or Farther's day or Christmas.....but "Garth Brooks" day ....OMG ...go figure...
