Dual Cable modem with MidPoint Software....

Has anyone else done this? The software is called midpoint, and if you have 2 modems of any type, you can mix and match, or whatever, and 2 NIC's you can actually combine the bandwidth, and I need some help with this. I have the program installed, and it works for me with actual file downloads, but when I do the speedtests on this site it does not actually help out the test on this site? I have had a couple sites that I done tests at and got in the 5-6mb range, but I need to configure it to help out on all aspects of my connection...

Thanks

The Software is called Midpoint. Their website is midpoint.com, but it's currently down. I got my version from another source online, it's only a trial version though, but it's completely unlocked with a 20day evaluation period. I'm not sure exactly where I got it from though, sorry i couldn't help you out.

Just figured I'd give a picture of my PC, I did have a picture of the Dual modems, but I removed it and just got a request to put the pictures back up, and this is the only picture I have access to, the dual modem picture will be back up later today.

Yeah, I knew the Motorola's were available in some areas, but in my little hucklebuck area they are always behind. Maybe some day someone around where I live will offer some real high speed connections, what I have is currently the absolute fastest you can get, and I'm only getting 2800k at the max on speed tests.  :?

I have a question...I used to use DSL, and its still active yet i dont use it..im using my Comcast 4mb, now is there a way to merge those 2 together and get a higher speed then what i already have?

Yep, this software allows you to merge any 2 or more type of connections together, if you wanted to, you could merge cable and dialup together, it's a pretty cool program.

Wow look at the pretty light!

Light make puter faster!

Wires looky like crapola! :haha:

btw where is your vid card at? No cpu fan?

What is that a 133 pentium?

Why make stupid comments like this? You shouldn't put down other people's things when the fact is that you probably dont even have what I have to begin with, so why post this?  My wires may not be ran in the most "beautiful" way, I agree. No, I don't currently have my video card installed, but I do own a video card, but it cannot be installed on this motherboard that I am running right now because it does not have an AGP slot, but rest assure, I have a new mobo on order right now. No, I do not feel that i need a heatsink mount cpu fan due to the fact that I have 3 fans mounted on the case, (2) 80mm side fans, and one I believe 120mm rear fan. And btw, no my -processor is a P4 2.2ghz, which I realize is also not the greatest processor which will also be upgraded to a 3.0ghz P4, and I'm running 640mb of RAM. Any other questions or comments?
