Testing with Firefox

Recommended Posts

I am having issues with IE...some virus called a360 makes it unusable and I can not get rid of it....I have switched to Chrome and Firefox and was wondering if Firefox gives accurate test results?  If anybody knows how I can get rid of the virus it would be great but everything I looked up said they couldn't figure it out

Use MalwareBytes in safe mode. If you can download it that is(virus blocks some stuff), other wise burn it to a CD on another computer and install that way.

I was testing with firefox today after updating my OS (XP  SP). After selecting "test upload and download speed" I got the following message "Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) in /home/tmn/public_html/tools/test/results.php on line 350

Could not connect: " Can anyone tell me what this means and what do do to correct the problem? Thanks  Azimouse
