hey chanan and welcome to the forum :)

1. What OS are you running, ex win 98, win xp, if you have XP make sure you have SP2 installed! Also download the p2p fix for SP2 here https://www.speedguide.net/read_articles.php?id=1497

2. What service do you have, what is the advertised speed for download/upload.

3. What tweakprograms you already got installed, and run this test http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks  copy and paste result URL  adress in your post!

4. What speed do you have against www.testmy.net and http://nitro.ucsc.edu/  also make a tracert, go to start-run type command and hit enter, type tracert testmy.net and hit enter, right click copy all and paste it in your post.

wowza there  chanan!  That router  is realy screwing you up.

1    *    1711 ms    2 ms  192.168.2.1

Try going directly thru your Ethernet card and see what you get :)

edit:

or is that a gateway.... hmm either way lol that first hop is WAY too high.

hey chanan :)

your MTU seems odd, it might be your router messing it up

try this

open cablenut, click delete cablenut tweaks and click save to registry

now reboot

bypass your router and connect your PC direct to modem and do a new speed and tweaktest

post result
