I became a member of testmy.net mainly to be able to test my high speed 15mbit/2mbit cable connection using the larger test files, since my connection, like many other cable providers in this country has powerboost, a technology which I don't really like, as it doesn't last long enough. Just give us a permanent upgrade to 20Mbit downstream I say. Anyway, as I live in Southern California, I wonder if testmy.net has any servers in the Los Angeles area? Also I hope testing upload speed offers decent sized files as well. I'd love to play with Verizon FIOS, but I'm doubting that'll happen.
