I am going to assume your supposed to be getting 1 meg service and are only getting 120 k's on the test. My first responce would be to try this link first, then do what Ryan suggested.

Thats not bad, turn off a few unneeded things that are running in the background and keep it clean, it might improve? Have you tried the TCP Optimizer?

Your connection is: 246 Kbps or 0.2 Mbps

You downloaded at: 30 kB/s

You are running: 4 times faster than 56K and can download 1 megabyte in 34.13 second(s)

Test Time:: 2009/11/21 - 6:19am

Test Browser and OS info: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.15) Gecko/2009101601 Firefox/3.0.15

Test ID: CO52YBUEF (if this is a screenshot go to testmy.net to see if this is fake)

Diagnosis May need help : running at only 32.11 % of your hosts average (zebra.lt)

This was tested from a 512 kB file and took 17.061 seconds to complete

1 meg connection is about close to 120KB/s if you do the math

1000/8.192 = 122KB/s
