starship_troopers Posted June 13, 2009 CID Share Posted June 13, 2009 my acer al2216w 22inch widescreen monitor has worked perfectly for a long time. as soon as i installed the new drivers for my graphics card in windows 7 it wont work at all. it will work as a "clone" of my 17 inch crt monitor that i now have to use but it wont recognize as a monitor. it will just say no signal. that is if it even detects. so now i am back with xp pro. i have tried even formatting my pc, still no go. and i know the monitor is ok because it plays 720p high def. on my ps3 perfectly. how do i get it to recognize so i can use it as my pc monitor again? starship_troopers Posted June 13, 2009 Author CID Share Posted June 13, 2009 OMG put this in the funny stuff thread...as far as i can tell this makes me wonder why technology is frustrating...i unplugged my monitor...plugged it back in, turned it on and off a few times now its perfectly fine, im on it as we speak.
