risky Posted February 26, 2005 CID Share Posted February 26, 2005 When I test here at mytest my Download speeds say about 550Kb/s but sometimes at some sites I can download 2 files that are about 700Mb each, download at the same time at a total of about 800Kb/s with one usually at 550kb/s and the other at around 175-200kb/s.. just a thought Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
VanBuren Posted February 26, 2005 CID Share Posted February 26, 2005 hey risky I think the test is very accurate, however the speedmeters in the webrowser is far from accurate to find your real speed, do like this during download of the files hit ctrl+alt+del and click on network see how many% your using of the 10 Mbps link or 100 Mbps link eg your using 48% of 10 Mbps thats 10 x 0,48 = 4,8 Mbps = 4800 / 8,192 = 586 KB/s VanBuren Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
