This one is Super Strange. Gf is taking internet classes. Her Laptop Is clean, Websites works fine, Yet when she logs on to her class, It bogs down SUPER slow. Its like she is on Dial up. We have Cable Internet. She connects with a wireless router.

Now if she gets on my computer. The Class is SUPER fast. We both run windows 7, Both Updated, It just makes no sense. Its just the class that does it, Only on her Laptop. Just Goofy, Any Ideas?? Tec Support swears its a laptop issue, Now that makes no sense. She has 6 Gig of Ram running A video card. There is no reason it should be doing this.

Is it only the internet classes doing this?

Have you tried other browsers... maybe their website is using a plugin that's screwy on her laptop.

That IS a weird one for sure :-P

Sounds as if it's an encryption issue between the laptop and the router during the class.

Try to ping from laptop to tower , and tower to laptop , while connected to the remote server as well as while not connected.

If the connection is a vpn maybe try giving the laptop a static ip and forwarding the port. If not , a static IP might be better and getting rid of netbios will clear some local traffic up , but might also break your shares locally.
