TCP Receive setting differ

I have direcway 4000 and I am setting some reg. hacks and I have both dr tcp and tcp optimizer.  I changed the setting using Dr tcp but when I look that  the current setting in tcp optimaize is isn't showing the setting, it is still showing the old settings.  I shut down and restarted and brought both dr tcp and tcp optimizer up side be side and dr tcp is showing the correct changes. Why isn't tcp optimizer showing the same. Are the programes changing different registry setting?
