1. What OS are you running, ex win 98, win xp, if you have XP make sure you have SP2 installed! Also download the p2p fix for SP2 here https://www.speedguide.net/read_articles.php?id=1497

If you have a MAC try this program http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/12591

2. What service do you have, what is the advertised speed for download/upload.

3. What tweakprograms you already got installed, and run this test http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks  copy and paste result URL  adress in your post!

4. What speed do you have against www.testmy.net and http://nitro.ucsc.edu/  also make a tracert, go to start-run type command and hit enter, type tracert testmy.net and hit enter, right click copy all and paste it in your post.

I have a question but instead of starting a new topic I thought I could just ask it here since VanBuren is reading this topic.

How would you go about undoing what you did with cablenut? All the tweak boxes with numbers in them that it changed, is there a way to "undo" it to return you to the state it was in before you applied them?

I don't want to since it increased my speeds, but I'm just curious...

load the file, click save to registry and reboot

make a new speedtest, use the 2992 KB file downstream and 1496 KB test upstream

also make a new tweaktest/analyzer and paste result here

Rogers is also what I have and I've been having major problems lately as well..

I think you and I are both screwed until they upgrade their equipment or something :(

I've been sending at least a few 'I am not getting what I paid for' emails to them per day, and I'd suggest you do the same heh :(

hmm

i dont think you using that file, atleast you didnt load it properly

the analyzer reporting "Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 384000 " and the file i suggested you to use have a Default Receive Window (RWIN) of 411648

download the file i attached, unzip it to C:ProgramCablenut

open cablenut, click delete cablenut tweaks and click save to registry

in top left corner you see file, load custom settings file, browse to C:ProgramCablenut and dubble click on Cable & DSL 3000 384.ccs

now click save to registry again ( very important )

and reboot your pc ( very important )

make a new speed and tweaktest
