Windows 7 Home Premium - Hard drive crashed and have no backup

How can I get a hold of Windows 7 Home Premium without buying a new full copy? I need only to reload it on to a new hard drive (original HDD is DOA). My brother never burned the backups from his HDD when he got this laptop, and of course there was no disk included with the PC. I have searched and searched, but have not yet found a viable option.

I would love to just be able to contact Microsoft and give them the key in turn for a download, but that does not appear to be an option that I can easily find either.

It is an ASUS X373E

Thanks-
