You have to have a web server to post pictures on my board...

by the way since I installed my new linksys modem I have been getting crazy speeds, I though maybe there was something wrong with my site so I tested elsewhere and still got the same results... i like my new found speed :-D

::: Download Stats :::

Connection is: 4415 kbps about 4 Mbit (tested with 800 KB)

Download Speed is: 539 Kb/sec

Auth Code: 2066226 (validate a http://www.testmy.net)

Bottom Line: 79 times faster than 56K you can download 1MB in 2 second(s)

::: Download Stats :::

Connection is: 4711 kbps about 5 Mbit (tested with 800 KB)

Download Speed is: 575 Kb/sec

Auth Code: 2070666 (validate a http://www.testmy.net)

Bottom Line: 84 times faster than 56K you can download 1MB in 2 second(s)

::: Download Stats :::

Connection is: 4560 kbps about 5 Mbit (tested with 800 KB)

Download Speed is: 557 Kb/sec

Auth Code: 2068401 (validate a http://www.testmy.net)

Bottom Line: 81 times faster than 56K you can download 1MB in 2 second(s)

just keeps rollin'

and here is from a nameless site that I used to cross check

Communications

4.2 megabits per second

How communication devices are rated. Kilo means 1,000 and mega means 1,000,000. Examples include 56k modem and 10Mbit Ethernet

Storage

506.7 kilobytes per second

The way data is measured on your hard drive and how file sharing and FTP programs measure transfer speeds. Kilo is 1,024 and mega is 1,048,576.

Hope my shit stays like this :-D ~~

For reals though, never post that sites name again... those guys piss me off... I even called them once to confront the person who coded the speedtest on their site, got him on the phone and was like "WTF dude, you totally jacked A LOT of your code and ideas from (TestMy.net) Poopz.com (this site used to have a diff name) the guy said "umm" and hung up the phone... grrrrr those DOUCHE bag mofos ~~ I HATE THEM! hahaha :-D

Actually I am going to go to my admin and ban that term from being posted... MUHAHAHAHA ~~ no really they didn't amke me crazy!! :twisted::twisted:

  • 2 months later...

hey guys all these download speed are great, however! when you achieve an upload speed of Auth. code 266936, 1129kbps/138Kb/s that is good networking (i.e.) tower.cabeling and C.O. distance for the low end DSL. In other words I'm pleased with my setup. :D
