What are you doing to secure your wireless network

Having a wireless network is great and nearly a must for so many, it seems security has taken a backseat to the authors of the devices used.

Leaving this open to thoughts and interpretations of each person, my question is , what are you doing to secure your data while broadcasting or not broadcasting your local wireless network(s)

I took  the easy route and turned off wireless in the router ,and ran a cable ,

although I see neighbours have unsecured wireless net works but none worth latching onto ,

indeed I might raise  a objection to the European court of justice about all the unwanted

radio waves passing into my head  ,even through 2 layers of tin foil .

I raise this question simply to bring light on the subject. As you say Roco, you can see others networks, which in itself is a simple fix for them. However this does not insure no one can enter.

Aside entering, depending on the share settings in windows as well as the wireless router itself, unwanted peoples can not only see the mac addresses currently connected, but if configured improperly or not at all - which so many decide just to shrug off, at the same time in some instances , view, download, change ext any files not properly secured, on the entire network.
