mudmanc4 Posted May 7, 2014 CID Share Posted May 7, 2014 Another windows dilemma Internal graphics works fine with two monitors. Install a PCI video card and it simply can't figure it out. Setting the PCI card in the BIOS as primary, it works as it should. Not both together, does not detect the other two displays or the PCI card. And microsoft wonders why it needs to resort to it's cloud office 365 ,looking into the future. \ Boot ubuntu and no problem , four monitors as it should be. With default install drivers. mudmanc4 Posted May 13, 2014 Author CID Share Posted May 13, 2014 Problem solved. Grabbed an ATI HD2400XT which has DMS-59 splitter. Seems there are only a few cards that will work well with the onboard graphics and PCIe 0o Right now just using surround view with three 17" monitors. I've got another 17 but cannot use surround view with more than three. None the less, already four monitors on the desk not including the laptop so a re arrange is in the future before adding the fourth to that system.
