Guest helloimtim Posted March 17, 2005 CID Share Posted March 17, 2005 I have dsl myself. Godd firewall is a great idea. Tweaking dsl for me anyway no matter what was tried made things tons worse. From time to time cycle your modum. Turn off computer and unplug your modum. Wait about 2 min then turn power back on to modum. Then wait 2 more min turn on your pc. I have always liked dsl for the simple fact if I am going to be away for sometime I simply remove the phone jack from the back of the modum and unplug it.
