Unable to run any tests

Not sure what you mean by that. I'm just gonna assume it's a joke that's going over my head. *WHOOSH*
 
I connected to my network wirelessly through the a/n 5GHz.. uh... channel... and it's running much faster with a more consistent connection than the g connection I was using before. (I forgot it was there and hadn't been using it. It's my new roommate's network, so I didn't bother messing with it until now.) I get over 20Mbps with it. I think I'll just stick with this and forget about trying to use ethernet. I just hope it stays this way. 
 
I just found out amazon.com doesn't work either... Also, I found a forum post, from a few years ago, on another website where a guy was having a similar issue. Unfortunately there is no evidence of it being solved. At least I'm not the only one that's had this issue.
 
 
Thanks for your help buddy. I'm still willing to try to fix this, but I don't know what else to do to isolate the issue further.
