Your speed is shown in both ways.

First in Mbps (or Kbps if you're under 1 Mbps), then in MB/s (or in kB/s if you're under 1 MB/s).  Some people want to know their binary transfer speed and others want to know their speed in Mbps.  Please read https://testmy.net/understand-bandwidth for more information.

 

You can't make it display in Kbps or kB/s unless you're slow enough, you shouldn't want to... it's like telling people how tall you are in millimeters, you CAN do it... but it's not the right way, you should convert up.  Just like I do here.
