I am currently on a witeless broadband connection. I hook up on this about a year ago, but it is not very reliable an sometimes slow.. (I only done this because DSL wasn't available in my area back then)  I am posting this thread to see what other think about the deal they cut me on switching to SBC DSL.  They told me that they was a reseller of SBC dsl, and they would switch me under the current rate which is 40.00 a month. One reason I think I am getting a really good deal is because they said that the way they set up there dsl is over a static IP. They also checked and I am about 8000 feet from the telco, so I qualify for the 3.0/512.  So is this connection worth 40.00 a month or are they  just trying to keep me as a customer..

Here are my current results:

These results are slower than normal they said thay are haveing problems with the towers or something.
