I just can't figure out why the U/L speed is so slow .

If you're on Comcast, then that's probably cached.  The new "boost" they're giving customers only goes up to 16 Mbps for the 8/768 package, and 12 Mbps for the 6/384 package.  Clear out your cache, turn off your firewall(s) and test again.  Oh yeah, and welcome to the forums.

Forget that boost, I'd just prefer having a constant DLUP package like 160002000.

everyone with comcast is getting cached results since there only supposed to get 16 mb max on the highest package with powerboost and alot of people are showing over 20 mb which is definitly wrong.  sorry guys but its not gonna be that much over 16

Definitely not cached here.

When I first got the Powerboost around the 7th. of this month I was getting around 17Mbps on a speed test, but lately I don't know what they have done but I am getting much better burst speeds.

Even downloads like from Microsoft are beginning above 4MBps. and then slowly taper down to about 1.3MBps. and then stay steady.

I know these are only burst speeds, but I believe they are real as seen below.

I dont really like this powerboost stuff much anyway. Ever since it has been in use by everyone my internet has dropped ALOT more.

Like now around Peak Hour times it just drops randomly. Fine during morning hours and lunchtime.
