Sudden Unexplained Slowdown

I am a photographer and do a lot of uploading to various sites using WS_FTP Pro. Yesterday my upload speeds suddenly seemed to drop dramatically. I found this site and tested my upload speed and got the results shown below. Download speed (also shown below) also droped dramatically. I do believe I need some serious help. Any suggestions?

what is your advertise speeds?

is your computer wireless or wired?

I'm running 2 computers wired through router. Been running fine with more than acceptible speeds until just a couple of days ago.

Comcast says download speed 4Mbps and upload 384Kbps.

I just tested again this morning, results below. The odd thing is there was a dramatic jump in download speed from yesterday.

i have 6000/768 package

so far upload is close to its cap but my download speeds have dropped more than 2Mb all this week. i wish they're working on another uprade  :D

if problem continous on monday i am calling comcast and tell them "if im avering 4Mb and below, you bettter charge me for the 4Mb/384kb package"

i have experienced some down speeds too like somw weeks ago but not since a long time. i think its like server gets down for sometime and than get restarted but it really takes time so users faces the problems... but no worries everything is fine up now and i hope same for u too

also plz check that like some softwares also takes up ur speed and makes it slower. so ban them from using ur speeds else it might be the reason as well...
