philip, that's INCREDIBLE!!  Someone recommended the Linksys router to me a while ago. I had DSL at the time. Don't know if this can be used with cable, but I'm going to call my company and find out!

If you are wanting to insert a router between your cable modem and your computer so that you can share your connection with other comps in the house, this is easy with the Linksys easy connect. You'll download a small diddy from Linksys. It will step you thru the process. Has worked very well for me

If you are wanting to insert a router between your cable modem and your computer so that you can share your connection with other comps in the house, this is easy with the Linksys easy connect. You'll download a small diddy from Linksys. It will step you thru the process. Has worked very well for me

http://www.linksysfix.com/check/index.html?CallerID=KB

Thank you for the tip, & the linky! *bookmarked* ! :D
