Don't say yours is horrible. . But my download is 10 Mbps, crazy differance compared to upload speeds isn't it.. :shock. Which other sites do you use to test upload speed, it all depends on the route you go via to get to the testmy.net server in Dallas, Texas and congestion/latency/packet loss on the backbone links. Locally I get anywhere from 5 ms - 15 ms pings ( Sydney servers, I live in Sydney, Australia). For instance: Pinging gamearena.com.au [144.135.23.52] with 32 bytes of data: Reply from 144.135.23.52: bytes=32 time=9ms TTL=57 Reply from 144.135.23.52: bytes=32 time=6ms TTL=57 Reply from 144.135.23.52: bytes=32 time=8ms TTL=57 Reply from 144.135.23.52: bytes=32 time=7ms TTL=57 Ping statistics for 144.135.23.52: Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 6ms, Maximum = 9ms, Average = 7ms (In gameing is higher of course.. but still very low). But that's just the unfortunate thing for living in Australia, It's a large island, most servers are international, so eveything has to go literally overseas.
