That is definetly not right!! What do you have your RWIN set to?? Have you checked for spyware and viruses with good programs?? What version of windows are you running?? Are you running a firewall?? Are you using a router??

http://ttester.broadbandreports.com/tweak/block:3df186d?service=dsl&speed=256&os=winXP&via=normal

This is what I have been going to lately... I used the Dr Tcp from dslreports and followed tha recommendations and notes, but still no improvement.Oh yeah, how do I know if I have normal or ethernet :?:

Rawdiz is your ISP advertised maximal download speed 256 kbps?

If so you almost get top speed at these test you posted.

Your current RWIN is multible with your MSS, but you can try to change your RWIN even higher to 11616.

Dont change anything else, the tweak tester result recommend you to change MTU to 1500, thats wrong!!!

MTU detection is enabled.

So what should I use to change tha RWIN... TcP Optimizer,Tcp Docter,Or Cablenut.

I think my max is 256 i ono,I have the first package:http://www.fastaccess.com/content/consumer/products.jsp

And what should i do about tha MTU :?:

Rawdiz

1. open DrTCP, go to the box where you see this value 7260, use delete and erase it, then type 11616 in same box.

2. Go to the box MTU and erase it if its any value in that, dont add anything in that box, leave it blank.

3. click save, click exit, reboot your pc.

Disable XP's firewall it sucks and can really slow you down. I think it is in IE Properties>Advanced, just uncheck it. XP will turn it on sometimes so check it every once and awhile to make sure it is still off.

If that is ZA 5 i would get rid of it and get 4, cause 5 is buggy as hell and alot of people are having trouble with it. Or even better get Agnitum Outpost firewall it kicks ZA's ass

RWIN changes didnt effect speed, that means you wont get any faster against testmy.net testserver.

I would leave these settings you got, as they are now. You can change back RWIN to 7260 if you want but the value u got now will help your download speed from servers with high ping.
