Virtual Memory Question

Recommended Posts

I have a computer with 2 hard drives, the first, old and nearly full, the second, new and 20% full.

I would like to know if the uncached speed of the hard drive plays some part in the speed of the virtual memory. (Which I know to be significantly lower then physical memory)

I have an old 8GB hard drive with uncached speed of 11MB / per sec

& on the same computer

I have a new 80BG hard drive with uncached speed of 52MB / per sec

If I had the second hard drive providing the virtual memory and not the first, will the virtual memory preformance improve?
