well i downloaded a movie from the net and the download speed was at 1874Kps, it woud nomally be at 100 to 300Kps but that was an all time high

Mabey it started that high .. but it cetrinly didnt stay that high. Residential lines will never be that high with comcast.

The Adelphia plans are 4000/384, and 6000/768 ;)

On my way to work the other day a few miles from my house i saw 2 adelphia trucks working on a side road leading to a wooded area. lol guess someones havin cable installed allllllll the wayback in the boonies. didnt know adelphia was out near me :o

nah. like with earthlink/tw/comcast/atbbi/whatever ( same devision ) here in florida the only packages are the standard 8/768  or 5/386  , but in texas, their are packages avaliable like 15 / 1 .  I saw it on dslreports.  Each state / county can set their own rates accordingly.

Yup. Cox Communications has different speeds offerd in different country's. Las Vegas doesn't offer a 5Mb/768Kb package, for Cox Customers over there. Their Premier is 5Mb/384Kb. :)

Geeze, I feel better now. I'm getting 300 to 400 up on my old slow DirecWay connection.. :lol:
