Either it usually works or doesn't, but this in between thing is new. I re-install Windows on my pc last night and downloaded all the updates including SP2, so maybe I am getting FAP'd? Is there anyway you can tell you are getting FAP'd while it's happening? Also, it's been just about 12 hours since I stopped downloading, so hopefully it speeds up soon... There is nothing you can do, unless it's on your end. And who knows what's going on on their end. And it appears that it could be a lot of things. The first couple of months it was around the 1000kbps mark download connection...24/7. Now I have seen it dip into the 200kbps.....Dw is changing crap or most likely overselling the available bandwidth. Im sure all the cooperate accounts get good service and the rest of us are using whats left over. The joke is on us Dway users at our own expense! My office building also runs on Charter, no FAP Chaarter was down in that area for 3 days due to a faulty trunk line. The Dway allowed our office to stay up and running. I have 3 remote offices running on comercial Dway. Best trick in town, Buy an extra dish off ebay and put it on your cabin, take your modem, reset network timings and keep your generator running.
