My download speed is terrible. Here is all the information that was requested from a previous post. Any assistance or input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much for the info. I did everything as stated. The results shown below blow me away. My download speed doubled:

Bottom Line:: 56X faster than 56K 1MB download in 2.69 sec

Diagnosis: Looks Great : 6.02 % faster than the average for host (cox.net)

First of all you have to turn off your firewall during the first few minutes of turning a comcast cable or any cable system because I just discovered that while your cable program is registering with the servicem, your firewall could be blocking certain information that they don't believe is important but IS really important.  after the first few minutes of starting your cable service, then and ONLY then you should immediately turn back your Firewall. :coffee:
