I doubt those tests are real. No one is 653% faster than avarage for their own ISP. Do you have tha ISP's page with it's advertised speeds?

i have a 100mbit connection, and i guess that they are showing stats for the more common speed, 10 mbit.. Ask Van Buren, i check my speed threw hes server. and he has same isp as me but the 10 mbit connection.

As i said, it isnt cached, and it isnt fake, and i don't lie about it  :)

Sounds cool. BTW don't get me wrong, I wasn't flat out saying you were lying. It's just most people don't/arent lucky enough to have connection speeds that fast. And then of course I noticed the " 653% faster than avarage for host" which is usually a red flag.

Ok, its cool :)

ya, im very satisfied with my speed right now, but im thinking of downgrading to 10 mbit again,, sonce i can't even remember last time i realy used the bandwith that much, i mean, i download movies all the time, and have a download at about 1

Hehe, well, like i said, i guess my isp's avarage speed is set to 10 mbit, cause thats the most comon speed for the host (bredbandsbolaget.se). i don't realy know. I guess testmy.net have to update the speed settings for my isp, so it knows that it is a 100mbit connection it compares with. then i would only run at 65% of my host's avarage speed :(

Wish my internet was that fast lol. I got to admit it is kind of hard to believe you can get 653% more then your hosts average. It's like being smarter then a computer LMAO...

PHP wrote  "the average isn't a setting, its a comparison to the average of all the tests taken with your ISP..."

In most cases this is true but my avrage is  the entire uk  host  .co.uk

my ISP provides cable connections double as fast as any other  Internet provider in the uk  TESTMY.net

would have more accurate results  if the ISP were avraged on there own merrits and not avraged for a nation.

I posted this about 2 months ago why has it still got NEW?

.. why all the replies now i was only messing at the time.

looked cool  :haha:
