DW7000 Question

I wonder if anyone knows if you will be able to upgrade to the 7000 when it comes out even if you are still in you're 15 month contract with the 6000??? I don't see why they would'nt allow people to upgrade since they are still getting the 60 bucks a month for the service plus the cost of the modem.. Also how much would the upgrade cost.. I hate DirecWay but I'd almost be willing to commit further to the 7000 if it does what they say it will do..

I am quite certain by readin information on the 7000, its aimed at business users, so you would be paying a lot lot lot more on the monthly access..... not sure on how much but I think it will be well over $100 a month plus.

Someone may correct me if I am wrong, but this is all I have read on it.

Not all telephone exchanges have local isp numbers, so any call to an internet provider generates long distance charges. It's cheaper to lease a pair of wires to the next exchange with a local call isp. So when AOL provided a local modem in the next exchange I leased a pair of wires to that exchange. At that time it was called "foreign exchange". Not cheap...
