bone777 Posted May 6, 2005 CID Share Posted May 6, 2005 I wonder if anyone knows if you will be able to upgrade to the 7000 when it comes out even if you are still in you're 15 month contract with the 6000??? I don't see why they would'nt allow people to upgrade since they are still getting the 60 bucks a month for the service plus the cost of the modem.. Also how much would the upgrade cost.. sparky Posted May 6, 2005 CID Share Posted May 6, 2005 I am quite certain by readin information on the 7000, its aimed at business users, so you would be paying a lot lot lot more on the monthly access..... not sure on how much but I think it will be well over $100 a month plus. It's cheaper to lease a pair of wires to the next exchange with a local call isp. So when AOL provided a local modem in the next exchange I leased a pair of wires to that exchange.
