Actually, if he's on the 5/2 plan, he's missing some upstream and downstream bandwidth.  I'm not really sure why some people think it's funny or ok that someone with a high speed fiber connection has no right to complain about sub par performance.

Fiber is forcing the cable and dsl providers to increase the speeds of their offerings.  In fact, many of the cable and dsl providers have plans that are faster than the FIOS 5/2 plan.

Fios is nice because of the upload, but even 2 mb up is not that "impressive".  Still.. 5 times faster then my upstream , but nothign that great.  5/2 and 15/2 is nice,  30 / 5 is much too expensive, but they should have an inbetween package.. like 4/4 or 5/5  or 10/10.  If be very happy with either :P

all ISP charge way too much for the higher upload speeds. Its BS because when you pay for the higher upload speeds to run something like a web server, Then the isp blocks the ports that it needs. all i want is 10/10MBPS for a affordable price, is that so much to ask.

Sacramento valley, CA you say? I heard that region is way to expensive to live in.

In neighboring Silicon valley, people with 100K+ jobs live in homeless shelters it's so expensive there. (at least when national geographic reported on it)
