hanifv Posted May 17, 2005 CID Share Posted May 17, 2005 i live in india, and fast connections are really costly here. i previously had a 40 kbps connection, which gave me download speeds of 3 - 3.5 kbps. i tried a tweaking software called Cyber tweak, and i consistently got 8 kbps downlaod speed . hanifv Posted May 17, 2005 Author CID Share Posted May 17, 2005 it is a connection through ethernet LAN. Cyber Tweak isnt causing the fluctuations, the download speed fluctuates even without it. My pc is virus, adware, spyware, malware free. One more question. I have Zone Alarm Pro. Should i get sygate personal firewall instead ? will it affect my download speeds ?
