cak46 Posted May 29, 2005 CID Share Posted May 29, 2005 A discussion has started surrounding posting to old threads. A couple of ideas have come up and DN0 suggested a new thread for this discussion. DN0 suggested that after a couple of weeks, have the text color change or use a pop-up, showing the date of the last post to the thread. A suggestion I made was to have the thread lock automatically after, say, three weeks if it is possible for this to happen.. If the new information is pertinent to the dead thread and should be included with it, I would think the mods could combine the new thread referencing the old one. Are there other thoughts on this?
