Dick Posted June 3, 2005 CID Share Posted June 3, 2005 XP-SP2 DW6000-Aopen Router-ZoneAlarm firewall. Everything is working fine but I have been reading the manual on router. It speaks about a internal firewall. and changing the IP address. I do not have a clue what all the settings and acronyms ,s mean. DO I NEED TO CHANGE ANYTHING OR LEAVE AS IS. Am I properly protecting my 2 computers. Plus where might I find reading to explain how all this works and what the different settings do. I have a d/l speed from 750 to 1100 depending I guess on how busy the net is at a given time. I suppose if it ain't broke don't fix it applies here but I really want to understand how it all works.
