But today, I got this score: Connection is:: 33 Kbps about 0 Mbps (tested with 97 kB) Download Speed is:: 4 kB/s Tested From:: https://testmy.net/ (server1) Test Time:: Wed Jun 08 2005 20:37:43 GMT-0700 (PDT) Bottom Line:: 1X faster than 56K 1MB download in 256 sec Diagnosis: May need help : running at only 2.05 % of your hosts average (pacbell.net) Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-EA9RGZPXJ I tried this in both Windows 2000 Professional and Linux. That's exactly how mine is. Downloads cap out at like, 32KBits per second, but upload is still normal 384 KBits/40'ish KBytes per second. I usually just assume my modem's overheating, but I don't know anymore. Oh, and Internet operation is still good, unless you attempt to receive a large'ish amount of data.
