Whoa, what a crazy kid.  I think having some sort of virus protection is better than having none?  I mean, what's the point of not having any, it isn't like it uses soooooo many resources.  Especially not for someone who obviously has a BaDaSszzszzzz computer.  And do you give credit to testmy for that test your bandwidth thing on your site?  Just wondering.

oh man all i said why i dont use a virus program and you guys get all up tight. That testmy.net thing hell yeah i tell all my friends about testmy.net they wknow it is from testmy.net ...........  lol man

You know what Hctim, you are acting very immature. You don't know how to take in what you read correctly. I've viewed the majority of the posts that you've made on this site, and you've either been disrespectful or unhelpful.

You're getting off to a bad start pretty quickly, and will be noticed in a bad way soon. I would appreciate it if you would stop spamming this thread. Nobody wants to argue with you dude. If you feel safe, think that are safe, or know that you are, good for you man.

I'd just rather get my thread back on topic.

I'm done with it.

im not running one. i used to have Zone Alarm Pro, and it said it was stopping stuff, but after awhile i got tired of having to allow programs to run and manage all the filters and everything so i just quit using it. havent had a virus since. virus free since 2002. :D however, my computers a veritable fortress against spyware. ;)

All of the computers I have fixed for other people so far have had 60-70 viruses found on them by Avast... I might add, these are people who do either very little internet surfing or none, they only use email, and they still get viruses...

Exactly. Not having a decent anti-virus program running and just using the online scanners that don't offer real time protection is like bringing a knife to a gunfight.

The December results are in. clap.gif

Kaspersky still leads the field with F-Secure close behind, but I couldn't help to take notice of how far CyberScrub version 1.0 has evolved. It's detection has really gotten better which, in turn, landed the program a number 3 spot.

Check the results here: 14-22 December 2005 (NEW!!!)

Avast      (free)

Avg        (free)

ETrust    (free) ** current useage **

used them all

now you can get 1 year free of ETrust at

http://www.pro-networks.org/forum/viewstory.php?t=69346

or others with unlock codes from www.9down.com

I also agree that NOD is the best out there

I cannot beleave my reading - that none is what that dude is doing- how insane

and I agree about  Hctim, bad start and will be noted...
