Conrad787 Posted June 15, 2005 CID Share Posted June 15, 2005 Hello Everyone, Verizon is coming to my house in a couple hours to install FIOS, and im psyched!!! I have read a lot of posts in this forum, and a lot of people usually mention, "OK, these are my scores after tweaking...." What are these tweaks about? I read something about the cablenut tool and using it to tweak, but exactly which tweaks are handy for FIOS. If I tweak my computer, will that only speed up my computer, or the entire FIOS connection and all the other computers connected to it? I have about 10 network devices connected to my network, including a mix of both Win XP and Mac OS X. Please post tweaks that have worked for you to improve both upload and download speeds.
