First, how do i check my connectivity? second, i have nothing else running and have Run AVG ADaware Spy bot and Panda online, third, the radio is mounte 50 ft to the left of my house with a clear shot at the tower.

Do you mean how to check signal strength?  depending on your configuration you should have an indicator for your wireless adapter/connection, and it will usually say the integrity of the connection.  some have a star rating, some say like "very good" or something like that, some might just say the connection speed like 10 Mbps.  But your AVG and Panda, and possibly the spyware stuff, can lower the test results.  try with them off.  i'm not so hot on the physical end of your connection stuff, like where its pointed or whatever, but that should all be ok i think.

How do i do a powercycle?

Sure thing:

-shut down all computers connected to router

-power down router (usually just pull the power cord)

-wait a minute or so, and check to secure all physical connections

-bring up router, wait one minute

-bring up computers

EDIT: nevermind about powercycling your radio too.  i don't know if that is necessary.
