saw RG6 that said its 3x faster then RG59.

3X faster !?? That's funny !  :haha: Marketers, gotta love them ;)

RG6 will have less signal  loss than RG59, and that's a good thing.  :D

But faster !?? LMAO

Belden cable is good. That's what I use in RF applications. Good luck

"Data 3X faster, video 3X brighter, Audio 3X louder"  :haha::D

I agree with Mactron - stick with a name brand, and if you live in an urban area, or near any type of transmission towers, you may want to consider quad shield cable.

It is shielded better than most cable (hence the name).

I know from experience, make sure the connectors match the cables! e.g.: rg-6 cable and rg-6 connectors. They are not interchangeable with other sizes. Luckily I have a Radioshack less than 5 Min's. from my house.

Also, I don't know if you've done cable rewiring before, if not, be patient, sometimes the connectors can be hard to get on just right, unless you use on of those fancy cable company tools, that is.

edit: spelling

Netmasta:  They can be difficult.  I use the screw down type when I do regular cabling for tv but go with the store bought stuff from Radio Shack for my computer stuff.
